Dr. Carolina Wiebalk is a licensed clinical psychologist and board-eligible neuropsychologist specializing in the assessment of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral changes related to neurological conditions in adults and older adults. Her work focuses on accurately identifying changes in memory and thinking associated with aging, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, traumatic brain injury, movement disorders, and other neurological disorders. She employs an evidence-based, comprehensive approach to understand brain–behavior relationships.
Dr. Wiebalk earned her B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University and her M.A. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, D.C. She completed an APA-accredited internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center, specializing in neuropsychology, followed by a two-year fellowship in neuropsychology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine within the Department of Neurology. Her training includes extensive experience working in multidisciplinary teams and conducting evaluations for diverse populations.
